The Memostation - beta 2 is coming near

The Memostation is a computer programme that works in a similar way as the now-old-fahioned method of Leitner flash card system of learning. Therefore it enables to achieve a distingtively shortened time of learning, it holds true mainly in the area of memorizing. The programme guarantees your not forgetting the subject matter of studying.

There are a lot of programmes, together with "the paper" tools, which should serve to easier learning , for instance, of English. Most of them are of a poor quality, they are often nearly unuseable.

Our target two years ago was clear therefore: to make such a programme that would meet the complicated demands of modern learning and that would not be discarded without usage only.
So our demands were:

• The universal usability (the possibility to learn foreign languages, history, geography , or medical items)

• The development with the participation of the user (so that the programme would remember what the user had learnt already and what he or she had not learnt yet. The programme would be able to create the schedule of learning together with the user as well.)

• The possibility of easy making and easy spreading of databases. (There was no need to do work that had been done again)
• The survey if the user's advance (For instance: following of how many words the user had mastered or how much time the learning had taken.)
• The maintaining of a noncomplicated and nice user interface.

Will the Memostation meet these demands?

We have provided the universal usage of the programme - for example: it is possible to use it for learning of new words of a foreign language, and at the same time for studying of the items of a driving school test.

There is no need to lose time with memorizing. We have developed an algorithm that plans the learning, for instance: when you are to learn a certain word. It has been done in such a way that your studies are as much effective as possible. You will save time.

It is unnecesary to do once more what has been done already. That is why we promote making of the databases of knowledge. Have a look at what a library of such databases on line looks like. You need not registrate or pay for any of them. At the time of the issuing of this article there are over 160 of them.

The statistics is a part that has been worked on permanently. There will be several graphs in the beta 2 version, which will enable you to monitor your performance.
